Our research centers and programs present law students an opportunity to observe multiple perspectives on the law.
The center takes educational advantage of Buffalo’s location on the Canadian border to provide opportunities for learning about cross-border legal practice. It works closely with our alumni, many of whom are engaged in cross-border legal work in a diverse range of fields including international commercial transactions, immigration, tax and international trade, to introduce students to a range of practice opportunities.
The center coordinates its activities with internal and external faculty initiatives and student organizations. It encourages and supports cross-border related research, curricular initiatives and public presentations.
